Toronto Distress Centres

Distress Centres of Greater Toronto has provided 24-hour support 7 days per week 365 days of the year to individuals at risk and at their most vulnerable in the GTA. They are Canada's oldest volunteer-delivered crisis, emotional support, and suicide prevention-intervention-postvention service agency.

Assaulted Women's Helpline

Free 24-hour support, 7 days per week, 365 days crisis counselling, emotional support, and information via telephone to help women in up to 154 languages that is completely anonymous and confidential.

For over 30 years the Assaulted Women's Helpline has served as a free, anonymous and confidential 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis telephone line to all women in the province of Ontario who have experienced any form of abuse. They provide crisis counselling, safety planning, emotional support, information and referrals accessible 7 days per week/365 days per year.

Kids Help Phone

Kids Help Phone is Canada's only 24-hour support, 7 days per week, 365 days e-mental health service offering free confidential support to young people in English and French.

Bounceback is a free skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry. It's delivered over the phone with a coach and through online videos. Across Boundaries provides equitable, inclusive and holistic mental health and addiction services for racialized people across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Wanasah

Wanasah is a new non-profit mental health agency created to address the urgent mental health needs of Black youth and their families in Regent Park and neighbouring areas in downtown Toronto. They are a space where Black youth and their families recognize themselves. Wanasah programs and services are free for residents of Regent Park and neighbouring areas.

At Sheena's Place, group-based support is offered to people aged 17+ affected by an eating disorder or disordered eating. The professionally-facilitated groups are completely free of charge, and participants do not require an eating disorder diagnosis or referral to register.
